Trilogy Rio Verde: Golf Course Dirt Move

Myers Video Production has been following the construction progress of the brand new Rio Verde Golf Course and its facilities located out at Trilogy. The team has spent multiple shoots over many months capturing time-lapse's of the construction. Our custom built camera rigs have been snapping photos every day to show a smooth progression of the building process.

 

For the first time ever, Myers Video Production has also successfully completed the first drone initiated timelapse. Using the 3DR Solo Drone, the team was able to program in custom flight paths using satellite and GPS coordinates. Once the initial flight paths were set, the patterns were repeated every two weeks to achieve a dazzling result.

 

The team used After Effects to splice the shots together and morph them into one another.

 

To our knowledge, this was the first ever drone timelapse achieved over a long quantity of time. The team is thrilled with the innovation and excited to implement the technique into future time lapse projects.
