We filmed the Phoenix Open alongside several other production assignments during the same stretch. Our production crews rotated between different deliverables connected to Golf Digest and PGA TOUR content while maintaining the highest quality visual standards across the work. We captured dditional footage captured for brand storytelling and promotional edits, some of which was gathered for immediate turnaround, while other pieces were filmed with longer-term use in mind.

People think of slow motion as a stylistic choice, something filmmakers use to create a dramatic moment. But the kind of slow motion we work with belongs in its own category. It’s state-of-the-art equipment and not just an effect or gimmick. With the Freefly Ember 5K system, we’re able to capture ultra-high-speed footage at up to 50x slow motion in 4K resolution. That means we can slow down a moment with incredible clarity.

As we wrap up our gratitude series for November, we couldn’t leave out the areas that continue to inspire us on shoots: North Phoenix and Scottsdale. These neighborhoods stretch across the edge of the Valley and offer some of the best environments for both photography and cinematography. We chose to end here because this part of the Valley shows just how many stories one region can hold.
